Okay, I’m officially giving up Tumblr for a couple weeks. Finals are coming up and I have three huge projects that I need to get done, and Tumblr is SUCH A DISTRACTION, I am giving the password to a friend so she can change it for a while. Ahh it was like right on the beach,..a town starting with L. Lincoln or something maybe? It was a lovely little town.
Lincoln City, yes! That is a pretty town; that and Newport are pretty popular tourist spots, so it doesn’t surprise me you visited around there. If you ever get the chance to visit again, you should definitely check out Silverton, my home town. Not only is it absolutely FULL of artsy types like myself, we’ve got the Oregon Gardens and Silver Creek Falls—which the first Twilight movie shot it’s forest scenes, so you KNOW it’s awesome. ;D

I’ve only been to Oregon once, and I wish that I’d gotten more of a chance to explore the woods. For the most part we were on the coast — the beach is gorgeous too!
Yes! The beaches here are so beautiful, but so so cold! I definitely recommend exploring the woods in Oregon if you ever get the chance again. Do you happen to remember what part of Oregon you’ve visited? The pictures I’m posting are from central Oregon, but I actually live in Portland, which is only a couple hours from the coast.

Yeah, I thought so, too! I took a ton more pictures, but I don’t want to flood everyone with my junk. Oregon is really really pretty though—everything here is so GREEN.

YOU GUYS. When was the last time you actually looked at bark? Like, really LOOKED? It’s pretty interesting. I could seriously stare at this stuff for hours.
My bros and I hiked up a trail to the head of the creek then veered off the path to find some nice fallen logs to nap on. This was one of said logs, UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL.

I am up to my ears in prints for anext, but I had to stop to doodle this real quick because it’s Kyle’s birthday and Kyle’s my favorite forever. c: Also his birthday is six days before mine so we’re Gemini buddies, haha.
In my head Kyle hates surprise parties because he hates not knowing every detail of what’s happening in his life and how everyone is in on a secret he doesn’t know about, and also and he has really embarrassing surprise reaction faces. Stan would totally throw him surprise parties anyway. Also! His birthday falls around AP tests and final exam studying time so I bet he would always forget and stuff so it would increase the surprise awww. c:
